Food Assistance

If you, your family, or someone you know in the community needs additional support with groceries or meals, please refer to organizations working to meet the need in Carbon County. If not otherwise indicated, please call ahead for most updated hours and services.

BAPTIST YOUTH MISSIONS - SINCLAIR

Services

On-call food baskets are available for residents as well as transient clients. TEFAP is offered once a month. The pantry is open seven days a week as needed. Typical office hours are Monday-Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m and Friday from 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Services

Hot meals are available as well as home-delivered (those who qualify) and take-out. Services are available in Baggs, Dixon, Elk Mountain, Encampment, Hana, Medicine Bow, Rawlins, and Saratoga. Hours available are Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with takeout available at 11:30 a.m. daily. Please call by 8:30 a.m. to let the manager know you'll be coming for lunch.

Qualifications

$5.00 is the suggested donation for meals for seniors aged 60 and older.

Provides a monthly food box as a supplement to each family based on spoken need. Food pantry is open 3 times per month. It is open each first Tuesday of the month from 4:00-5:30 p.m. and each 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
