Crook County School District #1

Crook County School District #1 will serve breakfast through the school closure. Meals may be picked up at the following locations:


Sundance Elementary School

1123 Fairgrounds Loop

free Grab-n-Go bags (breakfast items) for any elementary or high school student every Wednesday from 1:00—2:00 PM


Hulett School

429 Sager Street

free Grab-n-Go bags (breakfast items) for any elementary or high school student every Wednesday morning from 9:00—9:30 AM


Moorcroft K-8 School

13 Country Lane

free Grab-n-Go bags (breakfast items) for any elementary or high school student every Thursday from 11:00 AM—2:00 PM

Food Pantries

If you, your family, or someone you know in the community needs additional support with groceries or meals, please refer to organizations working to meet the need in Crook County. If not otherwise indicated, please call ahead for most updated hours and services.

Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies

Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies will offer a mobile food pantry in Moorcroft, 101 S. Belle Fourche from 11:00 AM—2:00 PM on May 14.

Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

Wyoming WIC is open and taking new participants! Please fill out an online appointment form to get started.


Buffalo Jump Saloon and Steak House, Turf Bar, Cowgirl Pizza, and others are offering take-out and delivery during community closures related to COVID-19. Additionally, Bear Lodge Bakery in Sundance will be open from 6:00 AM—2:00 PM. Try to prepay when possible to reduce contact.

Facebook Community

The Wyoming Share and Trade Resources Facebook group was established as a community resource to communicate needs when shortages exist.

The #WyomingNeighbors Facebook group was established to provide support, safe contact in a time of social distancing, and resource exchanges in neighborhoods across the state.

The Crook County Coronavirus Information Page on Facebook was established to provide pertinent information to Crook County residents.

The Crook County Council of County Services Food Pantry Page on Facebook is providing communication about food pantry services and procedures.
