Goshen County School Closure
GCSD 1 will be providing free meals to all children age 18 and under beginning Wednesday, March 18 and continuing Monday-Friday during this emergency closing of schools. There will be 10 locations in the county for parents to pick up a grab and go lunch for the day and breakfast for the next day. The locations and times are as follows:

Torrington High School, 2300 West C Street, Torrington, 10:50—11:10 AM
Riverside Church of Christ, 615 Main Street, Torrington, 11:10—11:30 AM
Pioneer Park, 500 Block West 15th Street, Torrington, 11:25—11:40 AM
Jirdon Park, on the corner of East 25th and East F Street, Torrington, 12:00—12:20 PM
Lingle Schools, 404 3rd Street, Lingle, 11:40 AM—12:10 PM
Fort Laramie Community Center, 102 West Otis, Fort Laramie, 10:55—11:15 AM
Hawk Springs Community Center, 435 Powers Street, Hawk Springs, 10:30—10:45 AM

Should these locations and times not work for you, please contact GCSD Central Office. We will do our best to accommodate any unique situations. Additionally if you have a child that has special dietary concerns, please call Patty at GCSD, 532-2171, extension 2133 or email her at email@example.com and she will work with you and the school nurse to provide a meal.
GCSD 1 will still provide the backpack program for weekend food. Those will be available in disposable bags beginning this Wednesday and continuing on Wednesdays. They will be available at the same locations as grab and go meal distribution. Adults may purchase a meal as well; an adult breakfast will be $2.00 and an adult lunch will be $3.00. Should these locations and times not work for you, please contact GCSD Central Office at 532-2171. We can also arrange for these backpacks to be picked up at Central Administration.

The Goshen HELP food pantry is available for drive-through every Friday from 1:00—5:00 PM. Residents of Goshen County are invited to schedule an appointment through the Goshen HELP website. An appointment is necessary to ensure the availability of food and to limit traffic disruptions. Goshen HELP is also providing rent and utility assistance.
Home delivered meals and available for pickup at noon
The Wyoming Share and Trade Resources Facebook group was established as a community resource to communicate needs when shortages exist.
The #WyomingNeighbors Facebook group was established to provide support, safe contact in a time of social distancing, and resource exchanges in neighborhoods across the state.
The Foodservice Strong Facebook group is to help all in the food industry that have been impacted by the March 2020 Covid 19 social distancing protocol.
