Wyoming Hunger Initiative wants to ensure that all Wyoming families in need are able to enjoy a holiday meal this season, so we're raising funds for Wyoming law enforcement agencies' annual Shop with a Cop programs statewide. Our state's law enforcement personnel are true partners in the fight against food insecurity in Wyoming and Wyoming Hunger Initiative is proud to support their efforts to serve the community during the holiday season.
Shop with a Cop pairs children who are hand-selected by school counselors with members of local law enforcement to spend $100 however they like—they shop together, which is an exciting adventure for all involved. These shopping trips nearly always include purchasing gifts for family members as well as household necessities. Each child is also provided a Christmas meal to share with their families.
The money raised for Shop with a Cop and other holiday meals across our state will provide comfort in a difficult year, and your generosity is appreciated greatly.
We also welcome donations with a personal check or money order by mail.
