Wheatland United Church of Christ Food Pantry
1056 Walnut St.
The food bank will be closed for personal shopping as of March 30 until further notice to protect volunteers and clients from unnecessary contact with COVID-19. We will be open for curbside delivery starting Friday, April 3. The rules will be posted on the back door. No lines; pre-made bags will be delivered containing foods that are available at that time. We will resume normal operating services as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!
Services for Seniors
Services for seniors is offering carryout noon meals for its congregate meal participants who can no longer congregate due to social distancing.
We are providing meals from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Any senior 60+ is eligible to pick up a meal. We ask that we be called by 9:00 AM so that we can appropriately prepare. A menu can be picked up, so that seniors will know which meals they wish to order each day. We do ask for a voluntary contribution of $3.50, but that is not a requirement for the meal. Questions are welcome at (307) 322-3424. Guernsey, Glendo, and Chugwater Centers are also offering pick-up meals. We are continuing our home delivered meals as usual to eligible participants
