Sublette County School Year 20-21
The Sublette County School District 1 food service program will begin serving students on August 26 at Pinedale Middle School and at Pinedale Elementary School. We will be serving both breakfast and lunch. Families in need are encouraged to apply for free or reduced price meals. Applications for this program can be found on the district website at sub1.org. We look forward to serving the children as school resumes.
The state has received a special waiver that now allows us to serve meals to anyone who lives within the school district boundary under the age of 18, whether they are a student or not. Meals are still at NO COST and not dependent upon your previous lunch status. This means you do not have to be on the free or reduced meals list to be eligible. We cannot provide special meals for infants or toddlers. Meals will be the same USDA-approved meals we are already providing. This includes a sack breakfast and a sack lunch for each child for each day school would be in session. If supplies become limited, we will make the enrolled students of SCSD #9 a priority. Due to delivery of supplies, we are asking people to be signed up by Wednesday to start receiving meals the following week.
Beginning 4/14/2020, all meals will be delivered to homes. Deliveries begin at 8:00 AM. After you sign up using this form, you will get a confirmation email including your start date. Once you are signed up, you will continue to receive meals unless you tell us to cancel, or we run into shortages. If you signed up previously, there is no need to do anything further. We will continue delivering to you unless you tell us to cancel.
In addition, the state is now allowing us to deliver an extra meal for the weekend. Starting Friday April 17, we will send 2 days worth of meals home on each Friday.
