The Cent$ible Nutrition program offers free in-person and online courses about healthy eating and lifestyles, budgeting tips, and more for qualifying individuals

Must be at or below 185% current Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG)

COMMUNITY BAK-PAK PROGRAM

Services

Kid-friendly, shelf-stable food items contained in backpacks for kids to take home from school on the weekends. Food inventory includes breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks. Fresh fruit is also included. Backpacks are delivered via volunteers to each of Pinedale's school buildings by Wednesday afternoon. Ala carte items, perishable and non-perishable, are also provided weekly to the student counselors for distribution to hungry kids during their school days, e.g., cheese sticks, meat sticks, yogurts, bread, peanut butter, fruit, and snack items.  

Qualifications

School counselors work with volunteers to determine the number of backpacks and ala carte items needed each week.

COMMUNITY FOOD CLOSET - BIG PINEY

Services

Food pantry; regular distribution is the second Tuesday of the month from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with an extra distribution the first Thursday of the month from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Physical address and a phone number are the only requirement.

PINEDALE COMMUNITY FOOD BASKET

Services

Food pantry available to Sublette County residents. Open every third Thursday of the month by appointment; 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2:30-6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Must be a Sublette County resident, fill out an application, show proof of county residence, and proof of income.

Volunteer Need

Always looking for help throughout the entire month; contact for more information.

Hot meal and delivery as needed; meals are served Monday-Friday. Please call by 9:30 a.m. daily to make a reservation.

Qualifications

A suggested donation for those 60 years and above is $6 and for those under 60, it is $9.

Hot meal on site and curbside available; available Monday-Friday. Salad bar starts at 11:30 a.m. and lunch is served at 12:00 p.m. Curbside is from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

TOWN OF LABARGE FOOD BANK + SENIOR CENTER

Services

Lunch is served twice a week, the food bank is available one day each month, and meals can be delivered within town limits. Lunch is served on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m.; meals can be delivered by appointment. The food bank is open the second Wednesday of each month—call ahead for most current hours.

Qualifications

Lunch is $5 for anyone 55 and older and $10 for anyone under the age of 55.
