If you, your family, or someone you know in the community needs additional support with groceries or meals, please refer to organizations working to meet the need in Sweetwater County. Please call ahead for most updated hours and services.

Services

Meals are provided to all members and their families throughout the week for at home consumption. On Friday afternoons, Club staff and teen members create boxes and bags of food with two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and snacks for a family of four. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Services

Emergency food assistance for Rock Springs and Green River, TEFAP provider, and Totes of Hope Children Backpack Program distributor. Diapers are available. Open as follows:

Rock Springs: open the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10:00 a.m.- 2:45 p.m. and 4:00-5:45p.m.

Green River: open the first and third Thursday of the month from 10:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Qualifications

TEFAP qualifications are required but not for anyone else.

Services

The program provides weekend meals to children and families experiencing food insecurity. Meals are distributed through Sweetwater County School District #2 by delivering directly to the schools. Food deliveries are made to the schools every Wednesday during the school year. If school is not in session on a Wednesday, deliveries are made on the preceding Tuesday.

​

Qualifications

To receive assistance, families must be referred by a school counselor or staff member. There are no additional requirements such as proof of identification or residency beyond enrollment in a participating school and a counselor recommendation.
