The district’s Nutritional Services department is making meals available to students. During the school closure, we will still be serving breakfast and lunch to all children in Green River. We will be running it under the summer meal program, with one change: you do not have to eat the food on the premises. You will need to come to a site and pick up the food and take it with you.
We will be giving you BOTH breakfast and lunch at the following times below. All meals will be free of charge to children ages 2-19. Adults are welcome to purchase meals as well the price will be $2.75 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunches.
Food will be served at the following sites:
Monroe, 8:00—10:00 AM
Truman, 8:00 AM—12:30 PM
Washington, 11:00 AM—12:30 PM
Harrison, 10:00—11:00 AM
Jamestown, 10:30—11:00 AM
In order to facilitate social distancing, all meals will be served from the front doors; no visitors will be permitted to enter the building. Again these meals are for all children in Green River.
If you can't make it during these times please don't panic, we will be open until 12:30 pm. We are committed to keeping the children of Green River fed during this difficult time. Thank you and feel free to contact (307) 872-5517 or (307) 872-5515 for additional information, questions, or concerns.
